Advent Insurance Management, the InsurTech-led Lloyd’s & London market service provider, has appointed Jack Smith as Head of Operations, a newly created role.
Smith, whose appointed is effective immediately, brings over 35 years’ experience to Advent. He will be based in the company’s Chelmsford offices.
Prior to Advent he worked for Tasker Insurance Group, where he held various roles since 2002, most recently as Head of Operations.
Advent says the appointment is part of a wider management team restructure designed to provide additional strength during a period of rapid growth.
Founding partner Jerry McArthur has become Chairman, with fellow Founder Paul Bermingham assuming his former role as Managing Director.
“Advent is growing rapidly, with projects such as the LMA’s Gemini expert-expenses management system and increasing adoption of our Advantage DA claims and reporting platform,” said Bermingham.
“The management changes announced today will fortify Advent during a period of accelerated growth, while crucially ensuring service continues to be seamless for our clients in London and worldwide.”
